Celebrating National Picnic Day with Hatherleigh Nursing Home - Good News Story!

Hatherleigh Nursing Home near Okehampton had an indoor picnic on celebration of National Picnic Day. Home administrator Tamsin Morgan dressed each table creatively with a layer of faux grass and a plaid picnic tablecloth, along with flowers, teacups, and garden-themed bric-a-brac..

Traditional picnic foods were laid out and relatives were able to enjoy the picnic-tea with their loved ones.

Hatherleigh Nursing Home’s picnic event not only celebrated National Picnic Day but served to highlight the importance of community and connection and the simple things in life.
