International Recruitment Update: January 31 Event and Surveys for Employers and Recruits
We have started 2024 with a very strong focus on supporting you and your international recruits and have a strong offer for you and them.
On 16 January we launched a major Migrant Integration Programme being delivered across Devon by Plymouth Hope. We will shortly supply a recording of that event but a second launch event is also being run at 2pm on Wednesday 31. January. Please RSVP by emailing us

Planning for the Future Hub
The Planning for the Future Hub has been developed to support Advance Care Planning (ACP) conversations. The hub is designed to be accessed by anyone, making discussion about significant illness, what matters to us and our goals for future care more accessible using the best national resources.
People can be signposted to the site to gain information and form a basis for discussions, or the resources can be used in professional consultations.
Professional resources are useful if you are new to care planning or an expert communicator. These include top tips for clinicians, communication guides and further training opportunities designed for busy daily practice.

Our Cabinet Member with responsibility for adult social care, Councillor James McInnes, has written to the Patron of The Northam Care Trust, Dr Len Lofts, congratulating him on his award of an MBE in the New Year’s Honours list.

We encourage providers to update their contact details (especially email addresses) with the Procurement team. We use these details to communicate with providers.
