With over 31,000 books returned to us for processing, it's been another busy Christmas period for the SLS team.
New topic boxes are still being prepared and will be delivered to you in the week commencing 8 January 2024.
Farewell and good luck!
This month we say goodbye to Tracy Willcocks who is retiring after almost 20 years of working for the School Library Service. She will be greatly missed, but we wish her all the best for the future.
Each month the advisory team collate lists for KS1, KS2 and Teens on topical themes.
With increasing migration to the UK, the ability to empathise with the experiences of others is more important than ever. Fiction is a powerful way to develop empathy and these lists should inspire you.
Our library network meetings are free of charge!!. They are led by the SLS advisory team and are a source of up-to-date information, the sharing of ideas and good practice.
