 School Funding Arrangements 2024-25
In 2024-25, as in previous years, the local authority will continue to set a local schools’ funding formula, in consultation with its schools, under what is known as a ‘soft’ National Funding Formula (NFF).
In response to feedback receive from schools a much-reduced consultation document has been produced this year. The additional information is still available in the links below which will take you directly to the source information.
As requested DCC has now added a Model D (showing the possible impact of a transfer of 0.5% (£2.65 million) from the Schools Block to the High Needs Block for one-year only) to Appendix 1 – 2024-25 Financial Modelling.
To explain the detail of the funding formula schools have been invited to online drop-in sessions to give schools the opportunity to ask questions, the final session is on
