Free online workshops to help protect vulnerable people from carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning
You can help protect vulnerable people that you support by booking on to one of our free, hour long interactive Zoom workshops delivered by the Gas Safe Charity on a range of dates all the way up to January, all from 9.30 to 10.30am.. You will learn about the sources, signs and symptoms of CO poisoning as well as what to do to help prevent the risks and some of the sources of support that exist for those people in fuel poverty. Please note that Devon County Council has started using the same 'Gov Delivery' system that is used for this newsletter to send out provider forum invites as well as other important messages to the market. As this is a collective email distribution, these messages may go to your junk mail folders so please check there. We are letting you know so that you don't miss any updates and are aware what to look out for when we are sending it this way. Any communication sent from Gov Delivery will come from an email address with the ending @public.govdelivery.com and have Devon County Council in the subject line.

Higher Development Award Level 3 at South Devon College

How to access Grey Matter Learning
To sign up for an account, all providers and personal assistants contact the Grey Matter Learning team. Select access training and then complete the contact us page that you would like an account under the Devon County Council funding. A member of the Grey Matter Learning team will then be in touch with you to set up an account.
Devon County Council has now received and published the full report from the recent Local Government Association Peer Challenge we participated in during the summer.
Work will soon take place to develop a single improvement plan to ensure that we collectively own and take forward as an organisation following the insights that we have gain. This will commence in early October and culminate with Cabinet sign-off and publication of the improvement plan in December.
