New Deputy Director of Children’s Social Care
Devon County Council appointed a permanent Deputy Director of Children’s Social Care, Becky Hopkins who has previously worked in North Somerset Council. Becky will be joining the Local Authority from July and shared the following message:
I am delighted to be joining Devon County. It is clear there is an absolute commitment and drive to strengthen services for children and young people and I am passionate about continuing this journey both with, and for, children, their families and carers. Living in the county for the past 15 years, which I consider a real privilege, I am aware of the diverse range of challenges our children and young people may face and look forward to tackling these together.
