In the three weeks between 6 March and 31 March, our Data Protection and Information Security Team (DPIST) was notified of 67 new Information Security Incidents. It’s often hard to appreciate just how serious an Information Security Incident can be. When simple mistakes happen – for example, information sent to the wrong email or postal address, or a document is included in an envelope in error – the reporting of those incidents to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) might seem excessive; after all, what’s the worst that can happen?

Find out more about the training options available, entry requirements and the upcoming virtual briefing.
You may have noticed that the log on for iTrent has changed. We are rolling out Single Sign On (SSO) for all DCC staff.
You will receive an email from the Human Resources Management System project mailbox with details of how to log in once your account has been switched over.
Check out this guide about how to log on using SSO. If you use bookmarks to the old login pages, you'll want to update them too.
