Will my school be open tomorrow?
Some schools in Devon were closed, partially closed or delayed their opening time today due to the weather.
With the Met Office issuing another yellow warning for snow and ice from 5pm this evening, it is likely that there will be further disruption tomorrow.
We're advising parents are carers to check our school closure webpage first thing in the morning to see if your school is affected.
Please also refer to your particular school’s website for further details.
How will I get to school?
Our school transport service will be operating tomorrow if it is safe to do so.
Parents and carers are asked to visit the school transport route closures webpage, to check if their child’s routes have been closed due to safety concerns.
If your child uses public transport to get to school we also recommend that you check with the operator to determine if services will be disrupted.
Remember to take extra care if you walk to school as pavements are likely to be icy tomorrow morning.
Driving conditions are likely to be difficult tomorrow and we are expecting the weather to cause problems on our roads, so please follow Devon Alert on Twitter and Facebook for updates directly from our Network Operations Control Centre.
