We would like to wish all of our employers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Our office will be closed from 12pm on Friday 23rd December 2022 and will reopen at 9am on Tuesday 3rd January 2023. Members can still view and ask questions via Member Self Service and we will reply on our return.

As promised in our employer meetings, the leaver spreadsheet is now on our website along with some notes to help with completion.
We will be adding a front page for submission and the guidance notes so the final version will be ready to use in January – we’ll let you know when its on the website!
We also recognise that some employers may not have the ability to extract data in bulk from the payroll system so we are currently working on second version with an input page similar to the current leaver form which then transfers the data to the leaver spreadsheet. We expect to be able to share this with you in January
|
Although we are adding more pages, the layout of the spreadsheet and data required will not change.
Please download the Leaver Spreadsheet from our website and share it with your payroll provider to ensure the required data can be provided.

As mentioned in the last edition, we have introduced a form for you to complete to confirm your key decisions rather than include them within the new leavers spreadsheet.
Please remember to download the Employer Key Decisions form on our website and return it to the Employer and Communications Team as soon as possible.
We have a dedicated team that will work with you to ensure the best possible service for all your LGPS staff, by providing guidance and support for you. Our Employer Liaison Officer, Mark Griffin, can arrange training to help you understand your responsibilities as an employer within the LGPS and what you need to do.
Please do not call your allocated Member Services team for help with processes but contact the Employer and Communications team direct by email at peninsulaemployers@devon.gov.uk or call Mark directly on 01392 385372
The Local Government Association (LGA) have set their 2023 training programme. They will be running a busy schedule of online and in-person courses and full details can be found in Bulletin 231. The courses with confirmed dates is open for booking on the LGA events page.
