Primary and Secondary Academy and L/A Maintained Schools Membership for 1 September 2022 to 31 August 2026
Dear colleagues,
Further to previous communications, we are writing to update you with some changes to the DEF membership for Academy and L/A Maintained Schools Membership across both phases for 1 September 2022 to 31 August 2026.
Since the original elections, one Primary L/A Schools member has stepped down and we have sought nominations from that sector to fill that vacancy. We are pleased to confirm that Christopher Tribble, Headteacher at Honiton Primary will move to become a full member and Rachel Miller, Headteacher at Kingskerswell CofE Primary School has been appointed as the named Substitute.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to Alun Dobson who has represented Devon Primary schools at Devon Education Forum for just over 11 years having first been appointed on 1 September 2011. During this time, Alun has demonstrated a strong commitment to the voice of schools and to driving improvement for Devon’s children and young people not only on DEF, but also as a member of DSLS Schools Executive Committee (DAPH previously) and many other working groups.
