Outcome of Elections for

Primary and Secondary Academy and L/A Maintained Schools Membership for 1 September 2022 to 31 August 2026

Dear colleagues,

Further to previous communications, we can now update you on the outcome for the elections for Academy and L/A Maintained Schools Membership across both phases for 1 September 2022 to 31 August 2026.

Sufficient nominations have now been received for each of the vacant positions and we can now proceed to appoint the majority of L/A Maintained and Academy representatives. The only exception were the nominations for the 2 x Primary L/A Maintained positions which are oversubscribed, and therefore a ballot will be necessary – see further details below.

The DEF appointments we have made are as follows:

Secondary:

Academy Members (x3):

• Graham Hill – Headteacher, Pilton Community College, Ventrus Multi Academy Trust
• Julie Fossey – Headteacher, West Exe School, Ted Wragg Multi Academy Trust
• Fay Bowler – Principal, Braunton Academy,
