Welcome to a special edition of the SEND Improvement Board Newsletter where you will find information on the upcoming Parent Carer Roadshows and how to sign up.
 Devon County Council is inviting parents and carers of children and young people with SEND to join a virtual roadshow event on either Wednesday 19th May 10:00 - 11:30 or Thursday 20th May 7:30pm - 9pm.

During the roadshows parent and carers can find out more about the new SEND Strategy 2021 – 2024, how it will be embedded into practice and the difference it will make to young people who need help and support. The strategy was co - produced by Devon County Council, NHS Devon Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), Devon’s Parent Carer Forum, parent and carers and partners. The strategy has been developed as part of the SEND Transformation programme, which was established to transform the experience of children and young people with SEND, and their families.
The team will also present the latest SEND design proposals on how services will be delivered in the future, and parents and carers will be given the opportunity to feedback on these ideas to help shape the future of SEND services across the county. |
