Food labelling laws are changing - and we can help

Nuts

If you own a business that sells or serves food, the law on listing allergens is changing in October 2021 - and we can help prepare you at one of our free webinars, hosted by Trading Standards.

Currently foods made, packed and sold on the same premises don't need to show ingredients or allergy information.

The new law will require more foods to be labelled with allergen information. The webinars are on 28 and 29 September and 5 October.

Businesses urged to prepare for new Covid app

Covid app

The NHS COVID-19 app is being launched on Thursday 24 September - and by then every business with an address that's open to the public must have an NHS 'QR' code displayed at their entrance.

That way, customers can use them straight away once the app is launched.
