Work will start next week on the second phase of a programme to remove potentially hazardous ash trees infected with ash dieback on the North Devon Link Road (A361/A39).
We've seen a significant increase across the county over spring and summer months in the number of ash trees infected with the ash dieback disease.
We were able to do a lot of the tree work on the North Devon Link Road during lockdown, while the road was quieter. But there's more to do, so our teams will be out from 1 September to mid-November to complete the work as quickly as possible.
We'll have measures in place to keep disruption to a minimum, but we’ll need to make it safe for our teams to work, while keeping the traffic moving!
Please read our story to find out more.
