COVID-19 Practice and Working Arrangements Update for Adult Care and Health

Staff Testing. To help eligible staff get back to the frontline.

Health and Social Care organisations in Devon are being asked to put eligible staff forward for drive in appointments for Covid 19 testing.  See information on the Covid 19 Adult Care Staff Information reSource page for details.

Update to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Guidance.

Public Health England updated it's guidance on the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on 7th April.  This new briefing sets out the current guiding principles for use of PPE.

Claiming Enhancements and Overtime

All employees, regardless of their grade can claim for additional hours, overtime and stand-by during the pandemic. These claims can be made from 17th March.  See COVID – 19. Claiming Enhancements and Overtime arrangements for details.
