Happy New Year to you. Thank you for working with us to promote careers in health and care across Devon in 2020.
Proud to Care Devon is working with local providers to organise 4 exciting Proud to Care Health and Care Jobs & Careers Fairs in March 2020. These will be a great opportunity for job seekers and students to meet NHS trusts, social enterprises, care providers, GPs, pharmacists and local education providers in one place. There will be lots of information about jobs, courses and careers in health and care for all ages.
All events will take place from 10 am to 3 pm:
Sat 7 March 2020 – Mercure Exeter, Rougemont Hotel
Sat 14 Mar 2020 – Petroc College, Sticklepath Campus, Barnstaple
Sat 21 Mar 2020 – Crowne Plaza, Plymouth
Sat 28 Mar 2020 – Torquay Town Hall
We hope that Proud to Care Ambassadors will join us in promoting the events on social media and using the attached flyer. Ambassadors are also invited to email proudtocare@devon.gov.uk to get involved in any events below.

Thanks to all Ambassadors who attended the public speaking workshops in November. The workshops covered how to deal with nerves, communicating confidently with others, and telling your story to an audience. We’re really pleased that feedback was positive “Really challenging and enjoyable. Feel very proud of myself for pushing boundaries of my comfort zone” and “I already feel much more confident about putting these techniques and strategies into practice”. We hope that following the workshops Ambassadors feel more confident speaking at events and putting their learning into practice.
We have one further public speaking workshop planned for 24th March from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm at Barnstaple Library. If you would like to attend please email proudtocare@devon.gov.uk
Is there anything else that would support you in your role as an Ambassador?
