f40’s Updated Proposal for a National Funding Formula for Schools

Each year f40 updates its funding model - a bottom-up calculation - to reflect current data on school finances and to reflect the national discussion and changing landscape of school funding.

f40 representatives presented the updated modelling spreadsheet, supporting narrative and Briefing Paper to the Funding Policy Unit at the Department for Education on 9th April 2019. DfE acknowledged that it is valid and intellectually sound, and is clear and easily understood. Read the notes of the meeting held on 9th April 2019 here.

What's New

HRMS Briefing Sessions for Schools

Devon County Council is implementing a new Human Resources Management System (HRMS). The HRMS provides a range of self-service functionality for managers and employees, including the booking of annual leave, sickness absence recording and pay and contract information updating. The HRMS is called iTrent which is a commercial system, used by many different public and private sector organisations and is very intuitive to use.
