Have you spotted
our Proud to Care adverts on buses in the Barnstaple, Exeter, Torbay and
Plymouth areas? We’re delighted to be featuring Kirsty Spry, Trainee Nursing
Associate. Kirsty started her career as a care worker, supporting people
to be independent at home and then worked in a care home. Following her
role as a Healthcare Assistant in the Royal Devon & Exeter hospital, she is
now part of an exciting national pilot as a Trainee Nursing Associate.
This involves a wide range of placements in the community, the hospital, in a
care home and in a hospice. Watch her film clip on https://www.proudtocaredevon.org.uk/real-stories/kirsty-trainee-nursing-associate/
In March 2018, we
were pleased to have over 15,000 hits to www.proudtocaredevon.org.uk and
some great feedback on recruitment:
“Love the new look
Jobs Board. Since it went live we have recruited 5 people in the
Barnstaple branch alone!”
"We recruited
our deputy care manager through the Proud To Care Jobs Board, 9 days after the
job was posted. The tools to make notes and CV viewer help make a quick
decision on whether the candidate is suitable for shortlisting, and easy access
contact details are great.”
We’re now
advertising vacancies in GP surgeries, in hospitals and look forward to
advertising vacancies in pharmacies soon.
