The EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016 (GDPR), which comes into force on 25 May 2018, will be the biggest reform of data protection and privacy laws in over two decades.
There will be a number of important changes and it is vital that schools and academies prepare now to be ready. This training will provide an overview of the GDPR and will focus on practical points that schools need to take now in order to be prepared.
The training will last for approximately an hour and thirty minutes, consisting of a presentation of the key legal principles and time for specific questions and group discussion.
Booking Terms | one free* place per Devon primary school and subject to
availability. DAPH reserves the right to make a notional charge of £25 for
additional places and attendees from other phases and/or schools outside of
Devon Local Authority.
Places are limited and bookings will be dealt with on a 'first come first served basis'. Additional bookings will be subject to availability.
