Reprocurement of school aged immunisation services - update and next steps

Message from Anna Masserick  |  Public Health Programme Manager
NHS England - South (South West)

NHS recently invited schools to take part in a survey on the future procurement of school aged immunisations and thanks goes to those headteachers that took the time to take part. The information gathered has helped to determine what form the future services should take, what the geography should be based on and key issues that we needed to explore with potential bidders in evaluating submissions.

To ensure we get the right provider in local areas, NHS England would like to continue to engage with schools and young people as we move into the next phase of the procurement which involves evaluating bids and scoring bidder presentations.

Request for headteacher and school children  representative: NHS are looking for a headteacher representative who is interested in scoring bids (September) and also a group of school children who would be interested in scoring presentations and asking bidders questions from a young person’s perspective (September / October). Note that full training will be given.

For further details regarding the reprocurement and to register your interest in joining the bids process please contact
