Payroll

Managers! Do you know when the payroll deadlines are?
The deadlines for the receipt of changes to payroll are published here.

It is important that we keep to these deadlines, as they ensure that payments are made on time and as accurately as possible.

It is particularly important that we receive details of leaving dates and reductions in hours or salaries by these times, as they can lead to overpayments, which are distressing to the individuals involved and costly to the services.  If you find that you have missed the deadline for one of these cases, please email Payroll as soon as possible or call 01392 382400

Feel reassured with Westfield Health by your side
For many years, we have offered staff membership of Westfield’s Contributory Health Scheme, via payroll. This enables you to claim money back towards health costs such as opticians, dental, therapy treatments and consultations; receive cash pay-outs for hospital stays and day surgery (NHS and private) and access other health and wellbeing services.

Karen Howes and Neil Burnett tell us what being part of the Scheme means to them. (PDF version)

Recycle bathroom items

Don't forget your bathroom items!
The theme for this year's National Recycling week (12-18 September) is ‘The Unusual Suspects’ focusing on items from around the home that often get forgotten when recycling, such as aerosol cans and shampoo bottles

Most of our offices also have recycling facilities for paper, cardboard, glass, cans (food & drink) and mixed plastics. These recycling facilities are well used and recycling rates exceed 80% in some offices. Find out more (PDF version)
