SchoolsNet locked documents
Usernames and autumn term passwords, for accessing locked documents published on SchoolsNet, have been issued to headteachers via the Perspective Lite September General folder.
If you haven’t advised us already that you have a new Headteacher in post, to maintain access to important documents, please email cs.web@derbyshire.gov.uk as soon as possible. Schools should review all Perspective Lite user accounts and delete any users who no longer work or require access for their role at the school, in line with our Information Sharing Agreement.
Please ensure new Perspective Lite users have been trained and issued with the user guide, and are aware of the importance of naming documents correctly, in order for delivery to be made to the correct Service in a timely manner.
If you haven’t already, please check July and August folders for any new documents which have been uploaded to your school during the summer break.
EHC Hub Update – Important Information
Please see documents relating to changes to the EHC Hub and the SEND Service from the Derbyshire SEND Service and the new Executive Director of Children’s Services. These can be found in the Perspective Lite September SEND folder.
Due to changes in Keeping Children Safe in Education 2026 (KCSiE), coming into force 1 September, a new ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education Implementation Guidance’ document is available on Services for Schools. The Recruitment and Selection Policy is also being reviewed.
Holiday and attendance penalty notices
The penalty notice toolkit has been updated for the new school term and this is now available in the September General folder on Perspective Lite. Please ensure this is shared with all staff who manage attendance. Penalty notice requests for holidays that took place at the end of the summer term will be accepted until the end of September.
Please review the updated school leases document to ensure that the data your school has submitted is up to date. If you have renewed a lease and haven’t informed us of this, or have an annual rolling contract, you will need to submit updated details using the School Leases form if it is showing as expired on the document. Also, if it is showing that outstanding information is required, please submit this to CS.Accountancy@derbyshire.gov.uk
