Norovirus guidance
Norovirus is circulating more widely, causing sudden vomiting and diarrhoea, and anyone affected must stay off school for 48 hours after symptoms stop to avoid spreading the virus. Handwashing with soap and water is essential, as gels don’t work against norovirus, and increased cleaning helps limit transmission.
Please note: School absence policies should align with the UKHSA exclusion guidance.
