National Wraparound Childcare Programme funding
The application window is closing soon. To apply for funding for breakfast and after-school provision for a full academic year (38 weeks) you must:
- Submit your application by Friday 13 February 2026.
- Ensure places can be available by Monday 13 April 2026.
If you are interested in either expanding your current wraparound offer or creating new provision, please email the Sufficiency Team for further information: CS.SufficiencyService@derbyshire.gov.uk.
Derbyshire SEND Local Offer publishing pack and video
Please use the new Derbyshire SEND Local Offer publishing pack (which can be found in your Perspective Lite January General folder), to update your website and communications, helping families easily access up-to-date SEND support and information.
The pack also includes a link to the video about the Local Offer website created with pupils from Ashgate Croft School. Please contact local.offer@derbyshire.gov.uk with any queries.

Bulletin 05 January 2026.
Phase one was rolled out in September 25 and focuses on all pupils of compulsory school age who have been absent for a continuous period of ten school days unauthorised absence (G, N, O, and/or U codes).
The second phase is currently under development and will focus on all pupils of compulsory school age who fail to attend school regularly.
Spring pupil census
The next school census date is Thursday 15 January 2026. The guidance documents for both Integris (v1.0) and Arbor (v2.0) are now available on Services for Schools. You must be logged in to view these documents.

An online course designed to ensure governors in schools are able to meet their responsibilities regarding the Equality Act 2010 and the increased emphasis upon equality within the new Ofsted framework.

This online course aims to introduce you to the role of chair and help you develop to become an effective leader of your board.
