National Wraparound Childcare Programme Funding – applications open
The local authority is working towards the government ambition for all primary school aged children, who want it, to be able to access wraparound provision by September 2026 from 8.00am to 6.00pm every day. Funding is available to support the creation of new provision or the expansion of existing provision. For more information, please e-mail cs.sufficiencyservice@derbyshire.gov.uk

A series of 3 online sessions designed to give pupils the best chance of success in the Y1 Phonics Screening check.
Please note: The first session has already taken place.
Day 2 – 11 February 2025 – 3:45pm to 5pm
Day 3 – 25 June 2025 – 3:45pm to 5pm
This free online event is open to all Derbyshire Relationships and Sex Education leads in secondary schools. The session aims to support PSHE/ RSE leads to fulfil the DfE requirements around two specific areas of health education related to screening and vaccination.

In-person workshops designed to engage staff in professional discussions with colleagues and Derbyshire moderators, to moderate a sample of your pupils’ written work and feel more confident in evidencing accurate teacher assessment judgements.
