The annual contacts report, with link to an online form, and guidance has been uploaded to the Perspective Lite October General folder this week. Please review, as it's very important that you ensure your school contacts are correct, and complete the online form by 30 November 2024.

The closing date for parents to make their applications for their child’s transfer to secondary education is fast approaching. Reminder letters for parents who have not yet applied, will come to you via the area mail for distribution. It would be appreciated if you also remind parents of the closing date of midnight on 31 October 2024.
Guidance for the School Workforce return - 7 November 2024 - is now available for academies that use the Integris MIS. Please note, you must be logged into Services for Schools to access this document. Derbyshire County Council continues to submit on behalf of LA maintained schools.

An online course regarding the role of school governors in monitoring and evaluation.

Online training and information to help governors understand their role in the school complaints procedure.
23 October 2024 – 6pm to 8pm
An online training session about delivering cannabis education, will be delivered by Talk About Trust, as part of the school personal development (PD) programme. They will provide free lesson plans and teaching materials.
23 October 2024 1pm to 3pm
An online session for those new to headship, with an inspection due or just wanting refresh, focusing on the principles and practice of inspecting the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, and leadership and management.
24 October 2024 9:30am to 12:30pm
