From September 2024, schools will need to alert the local authority of each PEX by completing a new Granicus PEX Notification form.
To facilitate this change, prior to the September launch, could schools ensure that a My Derbyshire Granicus account is set up for the school contact/s that notify the local authority on Day 1 of the PEX. Create your My Derbyshire account on Granicus by completing this web form.
This will enable the school to save a copy of PEX notification for internal school records. Please note that if schools have existing My Derbyshire Granicus accounts for Inclusion Panel or Temporary Provision Panel, then school access is already in place. Please address queries to the Inclusion team on cs.inclusionteam@derbyshire.gov.uk

Bulletin 08 July 2024.
Not to be confused with Travel Smart week, Modeshift TravelWise week is part of European Mobility week which runs from the 16 September culminating in World Car Free day on 22 September. Modeshift TravelWise week is an opportunity to kick start the term with messages to remind pupils and parents to consider how they travel to school and the options for making that journey in a more active and environmentally friendly way.
We’re offering a free tree to all Derbyshire primary and secondary schools in a mission to help plant at least a Million Trees across Derbyshire by 2030 to help tackle the effects of climate change.
We’re already over halfway towards our total but would love to add a tree planted in your school grounds to our tree map and totaliser on the Million Trees website.
Details about the trees for schools, kindly funded by Vertas Derbyshire Limited, our cleaning and landscape maintenance contractor, are being emailed to every school this week with instructions on how to register their interest in receiving a tree to be delivered in October/November.
For more information or to register your interest, please visit the Derbyshire County Councils website.
