Perspective Lite – new Headteachers from September

If you haven’t already, please email cs.web@derbyshire.gov.uk as soon as possible if you have a new Headteacher in post from September, so we can update account details and maintain school access to important documents.


Outstanding notification of off-site direction outcomes

Schools should send outcomes or updates of any outstanding Off-Site Direction or Managed Moves, relating to their pupils, to Inclusion Team at Derbyshire County Council before the end of term 23 July 2024, via Perspective Lite, or email: cs.off-sitedirection@derbyshire.gov.uk


SATS – Summer 2024 – attention primary phase headteachers

If you haven’t already, please return your school’s EYFS, Phonics, KS1 and MTC files via Perspective Lite. The deadlines have all passed except for KS1, which is Friday 5 July 2024, so please submit today. KS1 and MTC are voluntary, but EYFS and Phonics are mandatory.

The deadline for KS2 Teacher Assessments, which are submitted via the Primary Assessment Gateway, was Friday 28 June 2024.

Please see a letter from the Director of Legal and Democratic Services and Monitoring Officer, Helen Barrington, requesting positive messages from pupils about how Millie Bright has inspired them.

Children’s writing competition - “What it’s like to be me”

Open to all Derbyshire young people aged 18 and under, this competition will celebrate equality, diversity and inclusion. Full details and a poster are available on NHS Derbyshire Healthcare website, or you can email dhcft.membership@nhs.net or telephone 01332 623723.


Part-time timetable reintegration and review plans

Derbyshire’s Inclusion Support Service has published new reintegration plan and review documentation that has been piloted with schools and is now ready to cascade to all schools for their use. This documentation complements the existing part-time timetable guidance and notification, changes, closure and nil return documentation.


The Free School Meal (FSM) and Pupil Premium Checking poster

FSM reports are now available in School Access Module (SAM) and the team have created a poster which includes answers to FAQs and also offers signposting to services who will be able to help with queries not directly relevant to the FSM Team. Please access the poster from the S4S website or contact checking@derbyshire.gov.uk for a copy to be e-mailed directly to you.
