If you haven’t advised us already that you have a new Headteacher in post, please email cs.web@derbyshire.gov.uk as soon as possible, so that we can update account details and maintain access to important documents.
Please review Perspective Lite accounts for all users and delete any who no longer work or require access for their role at the school, in line with our Information Sharing Agreement. Please ensure new Perspective Lite users have been trained and issued with the user guide, and are aware of the importance of naming documents correctly to send via Perspective Lite, in order for delivery to be made to the correct Service in a timely manner.
SchoolsNet locked documents
Usernames and passwords for the spring term have been issued to headteachers, for accessing locked documents published on SchoolsNet, via the Perspective Lite January General folder.
Reports will be sent via Perspective Lite General folder. Please ensure you are using the new guidance dated 11 September 2023 to complete and amend your school’s part-time timetable records. Responses should be submitted by 18 January 2024.

The January and February 2024 school training course dates are now available on the Derbyshire Learning Online (DLO) website. For information on how to access DLO and enrol on a course, please visit the SchoolsNet website.
Schools are reminded that the advice contained within “Living with COVID – revised guidance from 1 April 2022” continues to be applicable where an employee has symptoms of a respiratory infection, such as COVID-19.

This condensed version of our full day course covering the role of the governing board, governors and school improvement and how governing boards work is split into two modules - delegates need to participate in both.

Significant changes have been made to the expectations on schools who offer placements for ITT students. One provider of the ITT programme has offered their time to meet with schools to discuss these changes with Derbyshire schools.

Using Standards and Testing Agency (STA) exemplifications and national curriculum expectations, delegates will identify strategies for developing children's writing skills so that they can fulfil their potential of achieving the expected standard in writing by the end of Year 2.
