Make sure you take advantage of the final free Sunday morning bus rides offer this Sunday (27 August).
Most bus operators across the county are taking part with free bus journeys being offered from the first service up until midday. So why not get up and about this Sunday and take a trip around the county?
The free fares are being paid for from the £47 million that the government awarded us to improve bus travel in Derbyshire.
Are you a carer who has a passion for singing? If so, the Sing Viva Derbyshire Carers’ Choir could be for you.
The choir meets once a month in person at Derby University or you can join in online via Zoom.
No previous singing experience needed, just have a go and meet other carers too. To join, please email Hattie Coupe at hattie@sinfoniaviva.co.uk

We’re working with Visit Peak District & Derbyshire to run a series of free, one hour cycling webinars in September and October to help tourism businesses benefit from being cycle friendly.
The national cycle tourism market is growing rapidly and can increase the value of tourism, extend the visitor season and enhance an area’s sustainability credentials. Derbyshire has over 260 miles of traffic-free cycle routes to explore, and the webinars are part of our ambition to make Derbyshire the most connected and integrated county for cycling in England.
The five webinars will cover:
- what cyclists want
- cycling for all
- enabling sustainable travel
- the cycling pound: Wednesday
- how to become cycle friendly
