The closing date for on time applications for both Reception and Junior intakes has now passed. All on time applications for Derbyshire children are now included in your school’s numbers on the School Access Module (SAM). If you are a school which receives out of county preferences, then these will be added as received so please check your numbers regularly.
Please also read the information included on the letter if you are a school which wishes to take additional pupils above your Published Admission Number (PAN).
We are now able to provide schools with advice, guidance and template letter in relation to the proposed strike action announced by the National Education Union (NEU). There are three documents named January 2023 available for all schools on Services for Schools.
In addition, information regarding completion of an MS forms questionnaire should also be read on Services for Schools.

To celebrate National Storytelling Week, Saturday 28 January 2023 to Saturday 4 February 2023, Derbyshire Libraries are launching a creative writing competition for children.
For Children's Mental Health Week from 6 February to 12 February 2023, Derbyshire Environmental Studies service have created a set of free SMILERS activities which focus on climate change and sustainability aimed at supporting their emotional health and wellbeing.
