Books for Early Years settings

All Derbyshire nurseries (school and private), pre-schools and childminders are eligible for a library card to borrow books from their local library to use and share with the children in their setting.

Events

The whole school approach to mental health and wellbeing

Two network sessions are available and can be booked on for 08 December 2022 13:00 - 15:00 and 23 March 2023 13:00 - 15:00. 

The third network in the Summer term will be a face-to-face event providing an opportunity to share and celebrate practice.

Crime Scene Investigation – Who Done It?

A perfect opportunity for young people interested in learning about forensics and the techniques used by former crime scene investigators, Dionne and Angela. Free half day event.

Meet the author Christopher Edge

A great opportunity to meet author Christopher Edge - a sure-fire winner to keep children reading over the half-term holiday. Taking place at Chesterfield or Heanor libraries.
