Perspective Lite secure transfer - reminder
If you haven’t advised us already that you have a new Headteacher in post, please email cs.web@derbyshire.gov.uk as soon as possible, so that we can update account details and maintain access to important documents. For all other staff, schools should review their Perspective Lite user accounts and delete any users who no longer work or require access for their role at the school, in line with our Information Sharing Agreement. Please ensure documents sent via Perspective Lite are correctly named, as detailed in the user guide, for delivery to be made to the correct Service in a timely manner.
The snow warden scheme continues to be successful with many Derbyshire schools joining. We would like to hear from you as to whether your school would be interested in continuing to be a member or would like to join the scheme this year.
SchoolsNet locked documents
Usernames and passwords for the autumn term, to access SchoolsNet locked documents, have been issued to headteachers via Perspective Lite. The letter is in the September General folder.
A reminder to all schools from the Inclusion Team, to please submit exclusion figures by 30 September 2022 for suspensions for academic year 2021/2022, excluding lunchtime and permanent exclusions as per instructions already sent via email. You need only submit this once so if already actioned please ignore this message.

The Department for Education (DfE) has produced new Exclusion Guidance which outlines the procedures for all suspensions and permanent exclusions. It applies to all maintained, academy and free schools plus alternative provision academies and pupil referral units and is applicable from 1 September 2022.
The Derbyshire scheme for financing schools document, for Derbyshire LA maintained schools, has been updated for the year beginning September 2022.
The process for applications for secondary transfer for September 2023 opens at 9am on Monday 12 September. Please see attached information for primary and junior schools re the publicity you will receive for onward forwarding to parents via your Year 6 children. There is also advice for secondary schools on the application process.
