A series of ‘virtual’ public meetings are taking place later this month about the future of accommodation for older people in seven of Derbyshire County Council’s residential care homes.
Organised as part of the public consultation agreed by Cabinet in November, the meetings will take place using Microsoft Teams on the following dates:
- Thursday, January 20, 6.30pm – for Ladycross and Beechwood
- Monday, January 24, 6.30pm – for Holmlea, East Clune and The Spinney
- Tuesday, January 25, 6.30pm – for Gernon Manor and Goyt Valley House
Anyone who would like to take part can book a slot by emailing telladultcare@derbyshire.gov.uk
Direct consultation is taking place with residents, relatives and staff.
