Latest information about coronavirus testing kits to use at home

Thank you for your ongoing support in spreading the word about community testing for coronavirus in your locality. Here is some important information about free testing kits that can be used at home. Please follow the links for the full information including who can collect the kits.

You can get the kits in three ways:

Every Tuesday from 13 April: Killamarsh Junior Athletics Club car park, 284 Sheffield Rd, Killamarsh, Sheffield. S21 1ED

Every Wednesday from 14 April: Amber Valley Area Office (bottom car park), Cemetery Lane, Ripley. DE5 3HY.

Every Thursday from 15 April: The Agricultural Business Centre (far end of car park), Agricultural Way, Bakewell. DE45 1AH

Every Friday from 16 April: The Arc (right hand side of car park), High St, Clowne, Chesterfield. S43 4JY

Every Saturday and Sunday: Glossopdale School car park, Newshaw Lane, Hadfield, Glossop SK13 2DA

One in three people who have the virus don’t have any symptoms, so everyone is invited to come along and get a test to protect their family – either at the centre or a home test kit

The testing is NOT for people with actual coronavirus symptoms -  they  should book a test – more info here

Change of community testing centre location in Matlock

From today (Tuesday 13 April) our community testing centre in Matlock is moving from County Hall to the Imperial Rooms, Imperial Road, Matlock DE4 3NL. The opening hours are 7 days a week from 7.45am to 7pm. The car park next to the Imperial Rooms will be free for those going to get tested.

Alternatively, if Buxton is more convenient for Derbyshire Dales residents, they can use our centre there. It is in the arts centre/cinema within the Pavilion Gardens (access from the promenade), St John's Road, Buxton, SK17 6BE. The opening hours are the same - open 7 days per week from 7.45am to 7pm.
