INSET Day: TA Training (Cohort 2)
Thank you to the 223 TAs and Teachers who kicked off the new year by joining us for the MITA TA INSET training at Energus with Sally Franklin.
This practical and engaging session built on two days of SLT training, focusing on the MITA scaffolding framework, setting mini goals, and aligning practice with the EEF Guidance on the Deployment of Teaching Assistants.
|
These strategies are designed to help schools maximise the impact of TAs on pupil learning through evidence-informed approaches.
If your school would be interested in joining a potential MITA Cohort in 2026/27 please email WELL@cumberland.gov.uk, for us to ascertain viability in a third year.
