Welcome Back After Half Term
We hope that you managed to have some rest to recharge over half term. It is a source of inspiration that as we move into the final half term of this three year phase of WELL, your continued commitment to be an essential part of the WELL family is still so evident. Thank you.

Independent Evaluation Survey 2024
The Independent evaluation survey will be sent out to Headteachers on the 10th June from noreply@qemailserver.com.
The response rate to this survey last year was 86%, which was brilliant. Let's go for at least 90% responses this year! If you can't find an email from this address on the 10th June, please check your 'spam' / 'junk' folders.
To support your survey completion, Headteachers will receive a list of all WELL opportunities accessed by your school between 2021 - 2024 from Vicki.Clarke@cumberland.gov.uk by the end of day today (5th June).
If your school hasn't received this list by the end of today please email WELL@cumberland.gov.uk.

Access to Excellence
We have been fortunate to continue to develop partnerships with high quality, evidence informed experts, who have a shared passion to work with WELL and to support you to make a difference in West Cumberland.
Subject to future funding, plans are being developed to continue to access expertise through ERA, to continue to provide grants, to offer further access to Marc Rowland, the team at Evidence Based Education (Great Teaching Toolkit), Louise Quinn (Shotton Hall), Sally Franklin (MITA), ImpactEd and exciting developments with the University of Cumbria and Cumbrian Award. We can also confirm that plans for WELL schools to access training with Professor Jonathan Sharples, the lead author of EEF’s Schools Guide to Implementation, and the revised guidance, published in May are being developed.
As soon as we know the decision regarding future funding, we will set out and share a full outline of the future planned opportunities that will be available to our schools going forward.
