We are looking for enthusiastic and innovative colleagues to join our Access and Inclusion team working with schools, children, their families, and other professionals to ensure all children and young people can access education provision.
Responsibilities: 1. Enforcement action for poor attendance and provide advice and support to schools and other agencies seeking to support positive attendance. 2. Identifying Children Missing Education (CME) and ensuring they are in contact with appropriate agencies and seeking an educational placement for them. 3. Provide advice to schools, governing bodies and families in relation to Exclusion, whilst promoting alternatives to exclusion. 4. Play a full part in the wider SEND and Inclusion Team including providing advice and linking to other agencies.
Qualifications & Experience: - Considerable experience of direct work with vulnerable children, young people, and families. - Degree qualification and/or relevant professional qualification. - Strong relationship building skills and the ability to negotiate.
