Labelling Pupil Premium and SEND Pupils
As part of Disadvantaged lead Marc Rowland's continued commitment to ERA and WELL schools, Marc has shared the article ''Pupil Premium and SEND: learning without labels' published by Unity Research School this week.
The article focuses on the problematic approach to labelling pupils and offers some insightful alternatives to consider.

Thank YOU!
We would like to say a thank you to all the schools and valued WELL stakeholders that have agreed to participate in the formative evaluation process of WELL.
Headteachers, senior leaders, local system leaders and implementation team members have been welcoming our independent evaluation team into school and taking part in interviews. MAT CEOs, Council Leaders, key partners have also given their time to support this project.
We do not take this commitment for granted.

Question to Consider...
To further support our school's sophisticated approach to embedding evidence in school improvement planning, in each WOW we offer a question to promote reflection and discussion as a leadership team.
This week's question is:
"Who are we collaborating with and how and is this supporting our school to improve? Who could we collaborate with to add value and build on the progress we have made to date?"
