The Children's Society's #LookCloser campaign to raise awareness of child exploitation and abuse is taking place next week, from 9th until 13th October.
#LookCloser is a partnership campaign between The Children's Society, the National County Lines Co-ordination Centre and the British Transport Police aiming to raise awareness of child exploitation and abuse and to encourage the public and businesses to better identify and report concerns. The campaign also seeks to challenge assumptions and victim stereotypes, highlighting that child exploitation can happen anywhere, and any young person can be a victim.
The Children's Society #LookCloser social media resource provides suggestions on how to publicly support the campaign.
The media pack provides a selection of draft social media posts for campaign partners, which can be used to support the #LookCloser campaign in collaboration with The Children's Society, raising awareness of child exploitation and the important role that we can all play in preventing it.
You can help to protect children by sharing The Children's Society #LookCloser campaign. It would be fantastic if your organisation was able to join the social media campaign to raise awareness of this issue and to take a stand against all forms of modern slavery.
