WELL Evaluation Survey 2023
A huge thank you to the 97 schools that completed the WELL independent evaluation survey 2023. It will be invaluable in supporting the project to reflect on what is working well and how we can improve.
As we are so close to 100 responses, the survey will remain open until the end of this week.
Please contact WELL@cumberland.gov.uk if you want to complete the survey but cannot find the link.

June Workshops and Plans for 23/24
We have been delighted to welcome so many schools to our June workshops and we are very grateful to Sue and Patty from Cumbria Research School for their quality input.
There are a handful of schools who did not attend, having previously booked a place. Attendance at a June workshop was a grant condition for 2022/23. Those schools that have already made contact to explain the last-minute challenges faced will be contacted by Dale to outline how we can work with you.
To avoid claw back of grants paid out to those schools that have not made contact with us to explain reasons for non-attendance, it is important that you contact Dale.hill@cumberland.gov.uk as soon as possible and before the end of this term.

A New ERA!
As mentioned at the recent workshops, we are delighted that Ashfield Junior School will continue to lead research and evidence informed work next year.
In addition to EEF, we have also secured commitment of Evidence Based Education (EBE) and Marc Rowland to support our work next year. This Educational Research Alliance (ERA) will give us even greater capacity to provide a compelling menu for WELL Schools next year.

WELL Programme for 23/24
The WELL team are working with ERA to finalise our delivery plan for next year. We are reviewing our model of delivery which will include a more differentiated programme of workshops.
A link to an electronic version of this programme will be included in WOW before the end of term. The link will also be included in all WOWs from September, including any updated details or opportunities and how to book places and take part.
