Cumbrian Award is an exciting opportunity for pupils from Y5-6 and Y7-9 to develop the range of skills and attributes that we want for our children and young people in our region.
It is underpinned by a commitment to create a sense of belonging, pride and confidence in all those that participate. Through the three strands of Adventure, Culture and Enterprise, the award not only enriches the curriculum, it supports rich and relevant curriculum provision for schools.
Ofsted Inspection Report November 2022
Schools that participate during 2023-24 may be able to access some additional WELL grant funding to support training and resources for implementation. Schools will also have access to practical support from a dedicated delivery team.

All 118 schools taking part in WELL, are open to collaboration and are applying relevant WELL elements to shape the future. We must never take this for granted. Therefore, we are dedicating a section of our WOW each week to a school to showcase positive examples and say "WOW! Look at at you".
If your school would like to be featured, please email us and we will build you a spotlight.
