We have launched our 2025–2027 strategy, marking a pivotal shift from reactive investigations to proactive safety leadership.
Our strategic priorities for the next two years are:
Excellence: Strengthen governance, maintain investigation quality, and invest in our people.
Impact: Harness technology and our dataset of 4,300+ investigations to develop AI-enabled tools that identify risks early.
Relationships: Embed family voices, promote equity, and deepen collaboration with NHS trusts and system partners.
By 2027, we will be recognised as a collaborative safety leader, supporting the NHS to deliver safer, more equitable maternity and newborn care nationwide.
