Delivering our strategy

We are adapting our approach and timeline to implement our strategy following a full review.

Our strategic ambition is clear and remains the same. We want to drive improvements across the health and care system, helping to tackle health inequalities. But we need to make sure that we’re able to do this as smoothly as possible, particularly as providers continue to experience persistent pressures.

We've set out what is changing, and importantly what is not, so providers can be clear about what they need to do at every step.

Tell us what you think of this year's State of Care report

We published the latest edition of State of Care in October. The report is our annual assessment of health and social care in England, and it looks at the quality of care over the past year.

We would like to know how you have used State of Care and whether you have found it useful.
