In our latest blog Debbie Ivanova, Director for People with a Learning Disability and Autistic People updates on the work of the Supported Living Improvement Coalition.
We launched the Supported Living Improvement Coalition in February 2022. It's an action group which brings together people with experience of supported living services, their relatives and representatives, care providers, charities, and local authorities among others.

Taking Charge is a free campaign created by colleagues and people supported at Community Integrated Care. It's to help people who work in social care, and the people they support, to save hundreds of pounds on their energy bills.
The campaign includes short YouTube videos with useful top tips. There's also a series of short webinars filled with useful advice. Materials are accessible so that they can be shared with everyone.
On 5 December 2022, Health Education England (HEE) are holding a webinar to celebrate the Care Certificate, showcasing its role in ensuring high quality care.
Designed with the unregistered workforce in mind, the Care Certificate gives everyone the confidence that health and care professionals have the same introductory skills, knowledge and behaviours to provide compassionate, safe and high-quality care and support.
The webinar will be an interactive space for you to ask your questions and recordings will be shared if you can't make it on the day.
Working together to ease the gridlock
We recently published our State of Care report. This is our annual assessment of the state of health and social care in England.
In his latest blog our Chief Executive, Ian Trenholm, discusses the challenges that have led to gridlock in the health and care system. He calls for steps on planning, investment and workforce to be taken now by national leaders.
Skills for Care is celebrating one year of the Adult Social Care Workforce Data Set (ASC-WDS) Benefits Bundle.
They introduced the Benefits Bundle to say thank you to all the care providers who use ASC-WDS for making a valuable contribution to the sector. It gives access to exclusive discounts across a range of products and services from Skills for Care and the training providers they endorse. ASC-WDS also offers you the ability to claim funding for staff development, manage training and staff records, benchmark their performance, and more.
