Emerging concerns protocol

Working with other regulators on emerging concerns

We’ve joined 7 other health and social care regulators, signing an agreement to share concerns more effectively, meaning better, safer care for everyone.

Sharing concerns at the right time can make it easier to notice that a problem is emerging. We believe that working together can encourage our organisations to develop joint plans when we share similar concerns.

The new protocol will help make sure regulators are transparent with the public, providers and professionals about the way that we work together.

Find out more about the new protocol.

Finding services in your area

You're probably aware that you can search our website for care services by postcode or town, but did you know that you can also find services by local authority area?

Use the drop down menu on our home page to select your local authority. If you want to see only one kind of service - for example, GP surgeries or care homes - use the tools on the left of the search results to refine your search.

Find services in your local authority area.

Workforce Race Equality Standard: Our 2017/18 submission

We published our submission against the Workforce Race Equality Standard (WRES) for 2017/18.

The standard sets out indicators of race equality in the workplace, so we can measure progress and decide what action to take to ensure equality of opportunity and fair treatment. We use the same format and questions as NHS trusts.

Our report shows improvement over last year.
