We're inspecting Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust from 20 September.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent health and adult social care regulator. Our job is to check whether hospitals, care homes, GPs, dentists and services in your home are meeting national standards.

In September our inspectors will be undertaking a focused follow-up inspection, which means that it will look at areas of concern identified during our previous inspections of April 2015 and February 2016.

CQC's last inspection

Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is rated as inadequate.

CQC re- inspected outpatients, maternity and the responsive key question in surgery in February 2016 and rated areas that had been Inadequate as Requires Improvement.
