Located in the corner of the Cathedral Ruins, the Blitz Museum is a treasure trove of 1940's memorabilia and artefacts.
Visitors will learn more about the Coventry Blitz on 14th November 1940 in our period school room, and will then travel through a typical house of the time and learn more about life in this era from one of our friendly and knowledgeable volunteers.
Open every Saturday and Sunday, from February to November, and other selected dates during the school holidays.

As well as getting up close to Dippy, families can explore the museum’s natural history displays and discover Nature’s Wonders (included in admission), running from 25 July to 30 August, with fun, creative activities inspired by the natural world.

There's a new grants programme available to help community groups run local events.
Made possible through investment from the Pride in Place Impact Fund, the programme could offer grants of £2,000 to £5,000 for small-scale capital projects for things like:
equipment
repairs and improvements
infrastructre
other capital investments.
All community groups, particularly smaller and grassroots organisations can apply.
Groups are asked to complete an expression of interest to help understand the level of demand and shape the final grant programme.
