Digital Determinants of Health Research Project
Secondary schools have the opportunity to participate in the National Digital Determinants of Health Study, a major national research project funded by the Wellcome Trust and being conducted by the Digital Determinants of Health Hub at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
The study aims to better understand whether the content young people encounter on TikTok influences health-related behaviours and wellbeing. The findings will contribute to the evidence base informing implementation of the Online Safety Act 2023 and wider UK policy relating to children's online experiences. Please email amrit.purba@lshtm.ac.uk with any queries.
