Godiva in the City is here this weekend, bringing two days of live music, culture and family activities to the city centre.
The free Council event will celebrate the city’s creative spirit, with headline performances including David Rodigan, The Selecter, and Chip. Alongside these national names, local artists and this year’s Godiva Calling winners will showcase Coventry’s thriving grassroots music scene.
Grab you free ticket to access the music stages, running from 12pm each day at Millennium Place and Gosford Street car park. Limited number of tickets remaining, book now to avoid disappointment!
Beyond the music, you can enjoy a range of family-friendly activities across the city centre including the Secret Garden, funfair and an aerial show - no booking required.

Celebrate this brand new festival across three venues where the story will be told in many different ways for all ages. Browse the bookish bazaar, embark on the indie author ink trail, puppet shows, theatre, best-selling authors meet & greet, not forgetting the after show party for a Tale of 2 Tone City.
Lots of the activities are free (but you might still need a ticket) and some are chargeable.

Coventry City Council is encouraging residents to become more active by walking or wheeling in nature, making the most of the city’s local green spaces.
The Go Walks project has been developed to help families across Coventry explore their neighbourhoods, improve their health and wellbeing, and strengthen community connections.
Starting from Family Hub locations, the routes link together nearby green spaces and highlight the wide range of local services and facilities available.

Chairs are available from the Rangers at these events but feel free to bring your own (and perhaps a picnic) and enjoy the lovely atmosphere.

 Coventry Cathedral is bringing the city together for an unforgettable celebration of music!
On 25 and 26 September 2026, the Cathedral will open its doors for a spectacular 24-hour Music Marathon, featuring performances from local musicians, choirs, bands and groups from across the city. Read the full story on the website.
The event will showcase the incredible talent within our community while raising vital funds for the Cathedral Choir’s 2026 tour to Malta, where they will share Coventry’s message of peace and reconciliation through music. Performers of all ages and styles are invited to be part of this unique cultural event.
